I found my calling in the strategic sustainability field from my background as an environmental engineer. I was able to work on technical solutions, but without a clear vision of why and how to drive change, implementation was always going to be a problem.
I have developed and applied strategic sustainability assessment tools during my time at Arup and with Sustainability Advisory Group. This included a key role in the development of sustainability strategies for Investa, Nakheel and Westfield; as well as assignments in sustainability assessment, training and strategic recommendations for clients such as Santos and SA Water. After completing a Masters in Environmental Protection in France, I applied my technical background and communication skills to developing multi-stakeholder sustainability projects. This included large companies (such as Total, Arcelor, Lafarge, EDF, Astra Zeneca and Lyonnaise des Eaux) and then smaller businesses and research centres in Northern France and the South East of England under a European-funded project. Support included sustainability training, relationship facilitation, technical and market validation of sustainable solutions and seeking funding sources.

This eclectic experience has enabled me to clearly communicate with clients of different sizes and with different cultures.
